Sunday was a very busy day at the shelter. Troy had a volunteer giving him lots of love, and as you can see from his eyes he was soaking it all in.
Frosty also got groomed by the volunteer. He got a bath and all brushed.
His little hair between his ears is so cute after it got styled.
We had a horse surrendered into the Last Act of Kindness program. She had been suffering from a chronic problem. The owners were so thankful that we have this program to help horses like this.
Pallo had a potential adopter looking at him. They really liked him and put him in adoption pending. We are hoping for the best for Pallo.
Another trailer pulled into the shelter with yet another horse for the Last Act of Kindness. It is amazing how many horses are coming to our shelter, we can only imagine how much worse it’s going to get as fall approaches.
This poor horse was really suffering and could hardly walk.
Kirsty had a chance in between adopters and surrenders to evaluate horses. Kachina did very well, she is an awesome horse.
Thank you all for your support! We couldn’t help horses like those in today’s blog without your help.
