Another Scarred Big Lick Tennessee Walking Horse Saved

Saturday night we rescued another scarred big lick Tennessee Walking Horse from the slaughter pipeline in Tennessee.

Royal has gone through 2 auctions in less then a week, we believe that he was purchased at one auction then taken to another auction to try to make more money off of him. His Coggins was done at an auction on the 14th and we purchased him at another auction over 150 miles from the one he was at on the 14th. The kill buyer was the only other person bidding on him Saturday night and we could not let him be shipped to slaughter. This poor horse has been through a lot in his 5 years, he has scars from chemical burns on both his front legs, he is skinny, he is sick and he is lame.

(Left pastern)

(Right pastern)

(Right hoof/coronary band)

He was not sold with his registration papers, so we have no way of tracking him.
There are so many Tennessee Walking Horses with chemical burns from soring dumped at auctions across Tennessee, we need your help to help them.

Please donate to help Royal and other horses like him.
