Shelter Happenings – March 11th – March 14th

Monday was a busy day with adoptions and we are so excited to announce that Diamond has found an amazing home! We also had an Adoption Partner come and adopt Banjo. It always makes us so excited when the horses find their new families and all of the smiles that we see.

Tuesday was a day for pictures. It was such a pretty day out and the horses were running around and enjoying the sunshine. We have updated our website with the horses that we currently have available. To see them please click here

Wednesday – Tawnee got a call earlier this week from the Sheriff Department saying that there was someone that needed some help. He had six donkeys that he wasn’t able to take care of anymore. So Wednesday afternoon Tawnee and Sarah headed over to see what they could do. They were able to get the donkeys safely to the shelter and they are all settling in great. Watch a short video and see what their old owner had to say, click here.

Todd, our trainer was also able to come out to evaluate and train more horses. We are excited to say that they all did great! To see the horses that are available please click here

Thursday was started off by making sure that all of the horses had enough food for the weekend. You can’t tell in the picture but a storm was coming in and it rained for the rest of the day. So it was just a slow and easy kinda day.

We are so excited that the weather is getting warmer and can’t wait to share more exciting things with you.

Thank you so much for your support!
